The Awesome Kid camp exploits digital methods in education through S.T.E.A.M. learning. It introduces theoretical and practical experiences through art projects that use the computer as a creative tool and incorporate digital media in their process and  delivery format. This exposure in emerging visual technologies provide a platform for the creation and testing of digital art instructional resources for children and youth.

 

In the first phase of the camp, students refresh their software, conceptual skills and share research on animation techniques along with collaborative storytelling.

 

Students then select stories to recreate using digital media. Each student works in a team during the workshop to produce a group animation on the predefined camp group theme.
