DIGITAL DESIGN & ART FOR PRINT

With the Fully Awesome 5 days/week you can either sign up for 2 hours per day or 7.5 hours full day camps.

Subjects covered are basic and Intermediate graphic design, multimedia, 2D/3D animation and modeling topics  based on your child interest. Project complexity is progressive. In addition to the 2-hour lesson plan, the Fully Awesome students also get to work with industry specialists and leap deeper in the realms of STEAM based learning.

Gone are those days when great art was only created if you knew how to use the paints well. Using technology to create graphics is the new way to produce a masterpiece! Leap into the world of digital painting and illustration techniques that lets you leave no stones unturned to turn YOU into a great Digital Artist.
Age isn't a factor here as every child is born with a creative mind which is the only prerequisite for this course.

2D & STOP MOTION ANIMATION

Put your digital camera to use and create your own cell or stop motion animation movie! Set the scene per your script or storyboard using your modeled characters and every day items. Thereafter, whether we take to the new ways to animate through coding in HTML5, create a flash animation tweens or choose through conventional 2D and cel animation techniques, the results will simply amaze!

3D MODELING & ANIMATION

Whether its another imaginary megaceptile creature, an aerodynamic automobile, or simply a walkthrough model of a new house under construction, bringing their ideas to life in a 3D technology project based learning environment at TAK camp helps kids to think critically and interact with science, technology, engineering, art and math, all at the same time.

Students use industry standard tools to prepare a model for 3D printing, create a character rigged for real life movement syncs, create naturalistic  material like water, fire, or create an accurate representation of an architectural design, all that can lead to a full fledged career as a 3D modeler, animator, artist or a motion graphics

Technology and special effects are an integral part of movie making. In this course kids learn video production and editing in an entertaining way without any prior knowledge or experience. Students begin with learning the basics in camera and editing, then shoot (and edit) a short film for screening. Students are then exposed to various concepts of non-linear editing like chromakey, compositing, sound effects, VFX and more that lead them to create their home production movie!

It is never too early to start teaching word processing, presentation and many other related computing skills to kids so they can accomplish the often required documentation pieces at school, with a least adult intervention. Be it calculative formulas, data driven spreadsheets, a language write-up with advance formatting, or a audio-visual rich multimedia based interactive presentation,  if given a chance, your child can master it all way before their next school project!

GAME DESIGN

In the new age, norms of a playground have shifted towards technology. Gaming industry is no more the next big thing, rather is THE big thing as we speak! More and more companies are leaning towards teaching essential skills through a game driven training, let alone the gaming industry. At TAK camp, students take their game ideas from conception to completion. Game design in particular offers many opportunities to develop higher order thinking skills like understanding and applying systems thinking, creative problem solving, storytelling, programming and collaborating with others.

WEB DESIGN

WEB DESIGN

Creating your own website isn’t as difficult as you might imagine. You could soon have it up and running – and the process doesn’t have to involve learning mind-boggling computer code though it helps. This TAK camp genre would cover all aspects of web design using simple and age appropriate content, Internet safety, social media and many other aspects of the world wide web.

Students will add rich media content and user interface to their web pages. They will learn how to create websites using various platforms and languages.
